One of our favorite things about summer is the abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables.
Especially peaches!
There is just something about biting into a fresh, juicy peach on a hot day. And August is National Peach Month. Mmm!
There are countless ways to use fresh peaches -- you can toss some on a salad or make salsa, pancakes, cobbler, muffins, jam, and more. One of our favorite ways to use peaches is in a smoothie. You can fill your smoothie with other nutrient-packed fruits (and even vegetables!), but summer peaches really make it something special.
Whether you’re a healthy eating pro and leafy greens are your favorite part of your diet, or you’re new to healthy eating and aren’t sure where to start, smoothies are an easy way to increase your daily fruit and vegetable intake. You can start out with delicious fruit smoothies or jump to hardcore green smoothies.
