Spinach, kale, collard greens, watercress...whatever your preference, leafy greens are some of the healthiest, most nutritious foods out there. We’d all benefit from adding more to our diet! Whether you’re a healthy eating pro and leafy greens are your favorite part of your diet, or you’re new to healthy eating and aren’t sure where to start, green smoothies are an easy way to increase your daily fruit and vegetable intake. Start your week off right by trying one of our recipes or creating your own!

Do you have a sweet tooth but also don’t want to derail your healthy diet? Maybe you just finished a workout and are craving some chocolate, but you don’t want to ruin the good work you’ve just done for your body by filling it with junk food. Well, the smoothie we made this week is a healthy solution for when you need something sweet. Its chocolatey, nutty flavor is sure to satisfy, and it is packed with nutrients, so it’s guilt-free!

One of the main ingredients in this recipe is blueberries. The flavonoids and phytochemicals in blueberries help protect against heart disease, and the micronutrients in blueberries have anti-cancer effects and have also been linked to the prevention of age-related mental decline. So, in the case of this smoothie, it’s better to have dessert! Here’s the recipe:
