Start your week off right by trying one of our recipes or creating your own!
This delicious smoothie is packed with nutrients. Even though kale is a more bitter-tasting leafy green, the combination of fruits in this smoothie makes it so you can barely taste the greens. It is a great option for those who are looking to move on from the mild flavor of spinach but are not yet ready for a green-heavy taste.
Kale is one of the most nutritionally dense vegetables out there and contains fiber, potassium, folate, phosphorus, protein, and vitamins A, C, and K. It is a anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, and antioxidant powerhouse! We’d all benefit from more kale in our diet. Here’s the recipe:
Serving Size: 2
Prep Time: 5 minutes
3 cups kale
1 cup frozen mango
1 cup grapes
1/4 cup almonds
1 1/2 cups water
Toss all of the ingredients into a high powered blender and enjoy!
