It’s easy to give into unhealthy food cravings during a holiday. After all, it is a special day! It’s okay to splurge, right?


While there is nothing wrong with allowing yourself a special treat, that small piece of brownie can easy turn into a plate full of unhealthy foods. Decide before your event what your plan of action will be. One great way to keep your healthy eating commitments is to bring a healthy dish! That way you know at least some of what you’ll be putting in your body is good for you.


Whether you are celebrating with loads of friends and family or you have a more low key day planned, making sure you have healthy dishes to enjoy is key to sticking with your healthy eating plan this holiday weekend.
